Vale Goblin

imogen_blueMy baby girl Goblin died suddenly on August 2nd. She was 12 years old. The day started out normal, but by 2pm she was gone. Our vet said a tumour on her liver ruptured. It was inoperable. She didn't wake from surgery.
I miss her so badly. Goblin was the sunshine in our lives. We're half-dead without her. The house is so quiet. All the songs we sang revolved around her. Getting up in the morning was to go for a walk with her. Coming home was to be with her. The comfort at night were the little sounds of contentment she made while sleeping. Goblin was our happiness and hope. Every morning she'd come & wake me. Her last evening we danced to Kami's favourite goth songs. Life with Goblin was so fun & happy. Goblin was our world. Our heart.
It's all gone. This year. So many bad things have happened. It's just wrong.

Her newest bed. Goblin has 5 beds in our tiny house, plus her own chair. But she loved this bed. It was just so soft and comfy.

Date: 2017-09-05 02:46 am (UTC)I am so sorry to hear that you lost Goblin; losing a beloved pet is truly heartbreaking. I am so glad that you shared the photos and videos of her that you did, though - it made me feel like I knew her. While I can't take away your pain, I imagine that Goblin is "up there" chilling with my dog, LuLu, and my sister's dog, Violet, and the other dogs we had when I was a child (Roger, Harvey, Shana, Tom).
These fur-babies become such an integral part of us... we adopted a dog at the end of January (he even has his own Instagram account) and I can't even imagine our lives without him now. <3 <3
May Goblin's memory one day be a blessing.
