These are great. Having once worked in a bookstore, I can assure you that your sentiment is shared by many. Once we were taking a tour of a schoolmate's house - it was lovely, very upper scale, and not a speck of dust anywhere. But there were no books. When I asked about them, she looked confused. She didn't have any, not even magazines (this was many years ago). The first thought to cross my mind, while standing among all this wealth, was how poor she was not to have books in her life.

That is so sad. I cannot imagine not having books. My sister reads fashion magazines, sometimes. It can take her a month to get through one. That is ALL she reads. Gracie finds my book-love weird. Luckily I love her or she'd have to go. ;)

Books are my best friends. Who doesn't want to hang with their best friend?

I can't admit to ever reading an entire magazine... well, maybe Starlog or something like that.

Books are a wonderful thing :)

(oh, and there's quote from Daria!)
